The sixth Steering Committee & Technical Scientific Committee Meeting of MAPEC (Master’s program of Environmental Engineering and Climate Change) was organized by the Hashemite University and held on 28th of September – 1st, 2014, at Amman, Jordan.
Prof. Eid Tarazi MAPEC coordinator at Al-Hashemite University welcomed with a great pleasure all MAPEC partners on behalf of the Hashemite president. Moreover he presented a speech about environmental issues on the national and international level.
Moreover, MAPEC project coordinator at Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe Prof. Salman Ajib who chaired the Opening of this meeting welcomed with a great pleasure all of the guests and all European, Syrian and Jordanian MAPEC partners.
In his turn, The General Project Coordinator Prof Ahmad Al-Salaymeh welcomed all partners and expressed his happiness that all the partners have been able to attend, especially those who came from partner universities in Syria. On the other side He thanked all partners for their effective contribution during the past period, which culminated in the opening of the program in the three Jordanian universities and especially in the three Syrian Universities in spite of the difficult political situation.
Inclosing session Prof. Ahmed Al-Salaymeh assured the importance of 6th MAPEC StC & TSC meeting and expressed his gladness that most of MAPEC objectives have been achieved. Also he approved that the next StC & TSC meeting will be held in Germany at the HS-OWL during the period of 8th to 10th June. 2015. Finally he thanked all partners for their attendance and fruitful contributions.
